ST JOHN’S TENNIS TOURNAMENT
The academy conducts series of Open Tennis Tournaments and Mini Tournaments as part of its objectives. The tournaments are designed to identify the best talents who will be sponsored to attend International Open Tennis Tournaments which would placed them in the World Tennis Ranking such as; ITF Tournaments, Satellite Tournaments, Future Tournaments, Challenger Tournaments. Our best players will be sponsored to participate in these International Tournament before they can enter into the Main Circuits such as; the Grand-Slams.

PARTICIPATION
Currently, St. John’s Tennis Tournament takes place at the Abuja National Stadium, Package B Central Tennis Courts. It involves only players within the age bracket of under 10yrs of age to under 18yrs of age boys and girls. Invitation letters are sent out to various Tennis Clubs for participation. Conditions for participation are clearly stated. Officials of the tournament are qualified in their various areas.

PERFORMANCE EVALUATION
Monitoring and evaluation during the tournament is essential to keep accurate record and performance of players. The record and performance of the winners in every category will be carefully reviewed by the technical team to determine their overall performance.

PARTNERING WITH US
St. John’s Tennis Tournament is unique grassroot program with the institutional support of the Nigerian Tennis Federation, Abuja Tennis Club and Geometric Power Limited. St. Johns Tennis Academy with several reliable organizations such as the Abuja Tennis Club work together to support the efforts being put in place to sustain the tournament. The academy also seeks to work with other organizations and Media willing to support the tournament programs.

SPONSORSHIP & CSR
The products and paraphernalia of the company that sponsors the tournament will be displayed at the venue. Sponsorship of the St. John’s Tennis Open is a major fulfillment of your company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR). The St. John’s Tennis Tournament is a unique initiative offering businesses the opportunity to better manage their Corporate Social Responsibility in Community development programes with gifts/donations and at the same time boost their business opportunities.

TENNIS COURTS
St John’s Tennis Academy Courts 9 and 10 of the National Tennis Centre, which is situated at Package B of the Abuja National Stadium.  The courts are built to international standards with blue clay. The courts also hosts the St John’s Tennis Tournaments.

FITNESS CENTRE
St John’s Tennis Academy has access to the Abuja National Stadium’s Gym and Fitness centre. This facility is used for conditioning and fitness training but our participants.

HEALTH CENTRE
St John’s Academy have access to well-trained physiotherapist and medical personnel of Abuja National Stadium health centre. His assures our participants of prompt and professional medical attention in case of emergencies.
